Help us reach families who may benefit by sharing our Facebook group or website with other military families stationed at Fort Drum. Many families are new to the area and may not know these resources exist.
Talking about the Donation Closet with friends, neighbors, and local military families helps ensure support reaches those who need it.

Parents of Fort Drum is supported by community members who are willing to help in small, practical ways. Volunteering is flexible and based on availability—there are no long-term commitments required.

For those who are able and wish to contribute, optional monetary support helps cover basic operating costs such as storage supplies, delivery coordination, and essential items that are rarely donated. Monetary support is always voluntary and is never required to access services.
Financial support is completely optional and is never required to access the Donation Closet or receive items.
Monetary contributions are not required to access resources and are not tax-deductible.

Parents of Fort Drum is a community-run initiative that facilitates the sharing of donated items among Fort Drum families. All items are donated by community members and are provided as-is. Parents of Fort Drum does not inspect, test, certify, or guarantee the condition, safety, or suitability of any item.
Families are responsible for reviewing items prior to use and determining whether an item is appropriate for their household. By requesting, receiving, or using items, participants acknowledge and accept full responsibility for their use.
Parents of Fort Drum does not manufacture, sell, alter, or endorse any products. Participation is voluntary.
Pickup and delivery services are offered as a convenience. Parents of Fort Drum is not responsible for injuries, accidents, losses, or damages that may occur during pickup, delivery, or use of any donated item.
Optional monetary support and delivery fees are used solely to help offset operational costs and are not payments for goods or services.
By participating in any program, families acknowledge that Parents of Fort Drum and its organizers are not liable for claims, damages, or injuries arising from donated items, transportation, or participation in the program.
Donate Items Today!
The Donation Closet is sustained through items shared by community members. Donations help ensure essential items remain accessible to Fort Drum families as needs change throughout different stages of military life.
Accepted Items -
At this time, we are accepting the following donated items:
Baby and toddler clothing; preemie through 3T ONLY
Lactation, breastfeeding and bottle-feeding supplies and equipment
Maternity/ pregnancy, postpartum supplies and equipment
Baby formula (factory-sealed and within expiration date)
Beginner foods for babies and toddlers (unopened and within date)
Books; Expecting, Baby, Toddler and Parenting
Diaper and training pants/ pull-ups (accepted as new in box, unopened sleeve, open sleeve and loose singles)
All donated items must be in new, like-new, or gently used condition, free from major stains, damage or safety concerns.
Donation needs may change based on inventory levels and storage capacity. Please review current guidelines on the donation page before dropping off items.
Items We Are Unable to Accept
To ensure safety, storage efficiency, and ease of redistribution, we are unable to accept:
Opened, expired and/or partially used formula
Opened, expired and/or partially used food
Items that are recalled, missing parts/damaged, or heavily worn
Items with mold and/ or strong odors
Furniture, Gear, Car Seats, and other large items
Stuffed animals and plush toys
Adult clothing (besides maternity and pregnancy items)
Items outside our current accepted categories
Parents of Fort Drum cannot accept anything with safety or hygiene concerns.
